Paul Wetzel

Paul Wetzel

Paul Wetzel was born in San Francisco and has lived in Philadelphia, Knoxville, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore City. Paul is a certified yoga teacher, who does not teach, but is passionate about the effects yoga can have on people. Paul manages the Free Baltimore Yoga website, Twitter account, and brand collateral.

Emily Fleming

Emily Fleming, M.A.T., RYT-200, is a yoga teacher and educator in Baltimore, Maryland. Emily currently teaches yoga and mindfulness full time at a middle school in Baltimore, weaving lessons on character development into the practices. Emily completed her 200-hour hatha yoga training through Earth Heart Yoga in 2011, and Elena Brower’s “Art of Attention” teacher training in 2014. Emily began to practice yoga at 16. She’s practiced around the world, from an army tent in a stranger’s backyard in Hawaii, to Helsinki, Finland, to the slums of Kenya. She’s traveled to Kenya twice to work with Africa Yoga Project and served on AYP's Leadership Board in 2014.

Katie has been practicing yoga for a little over a year after spending the past 18+ years playing competitive soccer, most recently at Northwestern University. She loves the spirituality, spontaneity and community found through yoga. She is a writer, creator, traveler, runner, lover and friend currently living in Baltimore.

Michelle DeVore

Michelle's love for yoga began when she personally realized the many physical and mental benefits a regular practice brings. Not long after she began a consistent yoga practice, she enrolled in her first 200hr teacher-training program to learn how to share these benefits with others. Michelle has completed many hours of training since, simply because she loves to learn and then share her knowledge with others. Michelle's teaching experience ranges from chair yoga and gentle flows to advanced vinyasa yoga. Michelle's greatest passion is teaching yoga to beginners providing a classroom experience that meets the needs of each student in her care.

Maeve Kane

Maeve moved from D.C. to Baltimore to study nursing in 2016 and quickly fell in love with the city and its community. She teaches in hopes that her students will learn the same patience, gentleness, kindness, and cheerfulness that her own yoga practice has taught her.
